Hi, I’m Hannah!
This corner of the internet has one purpose:
To equip moms who desire a spiritually full home and value time around the table. Never dread the question, “What’s for dinner?” ever again.
I am a mama of three who spent the last eight years transitioning into motherhood while balancing everything that comes with it. After four pregnancies in five years, I felt like a shell of myself and battled severe depression and anxiety following the loss of my daughter, Blakely, in 2021, along with other stacked griefs over a very short period of time. To cope, I sold my 6 figure marketing business, stopped sending emails to my community of nearly 6,000 that got devotionals and meal plans every week from me, and withdrew from almost everything except the church my husband and I started in 2021 in Frisco, TX.
While showing up in my home sometimes felt impossible because of the grief and rage I was working through, the kitchen was where I could do it best. When my emotional capacity was capped, preparing a warm meal to share with my kids around the table was something I could still do. And so... I did it. The table, once again, proved itself to be a centerpiece for unity and conversation as it has for generations. I grew up with a family that values meals around the table every single night. Like, you didn’t miss family dinner. Plans? Go for it, but be home for dinner! And, because of that, we always have done this in my tiny family, too.
Through my grief, something shifted in me. I didn’t just want to cook food to eat together. I wanted to create. I wanted to make meals that were thoughtfully planned and prepared, to begin developing my own dishes, to pull out my grandmas’ cookbooks and actually follow recipes from chefs I admired. Meals became something I loved more than ever, in part because of the intention behind them, planning ahead and stewarding my time and resources well.
Consider me a friend in your corner cheering you on as you tackle weeknight dinners. I send you a weekly meal plan with a complete shopping list to take the guesswork out of “What’s for dinner?” so you can show up for your kids with more joy and less stress. All you have to do is step into the kitchen and create a space for your children to connect, laugh, and enjoy meals together
